A lot of people thought that DJ Sbu would be nothing without Metro FM but looking at the success of MoFaya you could say that the TV personality and DJ is doing so much more for himself and his family since leaving Metro.
Since he’s been away from Metro DJ Sbu has been able to focus more on his personal brand and building an empire to leave behind for his family, all the extra time has also given him the opportunity to spend a little more time with his daughter.
Speaking on V-Entertainment earlier this week, Sbu said: “I think currently I have an opportunity to at least spend Saturday afternoons or Saturday mornings with my daughter, which is the most amazing thing. I mean one day I’d love to retire and become a full-time father and a lecturer.”
Besides wanting to spend more time with his daughter Sbu admits that he hasn’t been doing too well with his MBA studies and has been failing assignments so he plans on changing that with all the free time he has. “I don’t wanna give excuses but I haven’t been doing well.”
Oh and about his radio career? Sbu says that he’s “sitting with a couple of opportunities” but he still hasn’t explored all his opportunities fully.
So maybe the grass is greener on the other side for DJ Sbu?
