Radio and TV personality Dineo Ranaka is making a big comeback to Metro FM as the host of The Saturday Top 30.
On Friday, Metro FM revealed its 2025/26 lineup, introducing new faces while also welcoming back some familiar voices. One of the biggest surprises is Dineo Ranaka’s return to the station.
Dineo was a key figure at Metro FM before she left in 2023 to join Kaya 959. However, her time at Kaya was short-lived, as she was dismissed from the station. During that period, she also faced personal struggles, which she openly shared on social media. Despite those challenges, Dineo is now making a strong comeback, ready to take over the weekend airwaves.
She won’t be the only fresh addition to Metro FM’s lineup. Former YFM presenter and club DJ Supta, whose real name is Siyabulela Sithole, is also joining the station. He had been with YFM for 11 years before announcing his departure in February 2025. Supta will now host Midnight with a Smile, airing from Monday to Friday between midnight and 3 a.m.
Metro FM’s business manager, Kina Nhlengethwa, is thrilled about the station’s new lineup.
“We’re blending familiar faces with fresh talent to bring new perspectives. Our listeners are in for a treat, and we are confident that our 2025/26 lineup will keep them entertained and engaged. Metro FM remains South Africa’s top commercial radio station.”
With Dineo’s return and the addition of Supta, Metro FM is set to bring even more energy and excitement to its loyal listeners.
