Denise Zimba is back—and she’s doing it her way! The former Vuzu presenter, actress, and entertainer has returned to the spotlight with new energy and a clear purpose.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Denise opened up about her journey and why now is the perfect time for her comeback. “I’m back with full force. Life has been ‘lifing’, but I’m still here, getting myself back in the game,” she said honestly.
Over the past few years, Denise has been working hard behind the scenes. She’s been producing, directing, and helping create space for fresh new talent in the entertainment industry. But now, she says it’s time to step in front of the camera again and share her voice with the world.
Many fans first got to know Denise during her time as a presenter on Vuzu’s V-Entertainment, where her lively energy and fearless personality made her a standout. She quickly became a fan favourite. From there, she went on to act in popular local TV shows like Generations: The Legacy and The Queen. She’s also shown her talents as a dancer and all-round performer.
Now, Denise is focusing on a passion she’s had for a long time, music. “Yes, I’m venturing into music because it’s always been one of my passions,” she shared. “I’ve got a story to tell, and what better way to do that than through music?”
Denise says she’s no longer hiding who she truly is. She wants to use her creativity not just to express herself, but to help others heal too. “I’m expanding. I want to be that force behind the scenes, helping bring in new faces. But I’m also not done with being in front of the camera or the mic,” she explained.
As she reflects on her past, Denise admits she sometimes misses her younger self from the Vuzu days. “Those were the days! That version of me might come back… I miss her too sometimes,” she said with a smile.
