Anele Mdoda Opens Up About Love, Wedding Plans, and Busy Life

Award-winning radio and TV star Anele Mdoda is known for being real and honest with her fans. Whether it’s on the radio or on screen, she’s always kept it 100 with Mzansi. Now, Anele is sharing a little more about her life, especially about love, wedding plans, and how she handles her busy schedule.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the 947 breakfast host explained how she doesn’t stress about trying to “balance” everything in life. For her, it’s all about staying focused and doing one thing at a time.

“I do what’s in front of me. I don’t believe in the balance question,” Anele said. “Tomorrow morning at 5am, what’s in front of me is radio. After that, I meet with my teams, then I go to gym, then I have a photo shoot with my bridesmaids. Later, I’m heading home because my fiancé’s family is up here for a funeral. I want to cook for them. You just keep going.”

Even with her full work schedule, there’s clearly a lot of joy in Anele’s life. When she talks about her wedding plans, her excitement shines through.

“Dude. Yeah, I’m planning a wedding. That’s it. That’s the only project now waiting. Otherwise, please, I am very excited. But I mean, I love love. I love my husband. And then I love events. So then love husband events at the wedding,” she shared.

Although Anele hasn’t said much about her fiancé or given many details about the big day, she has confirmed that wedding planning is in full swing and the ceremony will happen soon.

Anele has become one of South Africa’s favourite media personalities because of her talent, humour, and honesty. She’s the voice behind Anele and the Club on 947, and she’s also worked behind the scenes on popular local TV shows.

Now, she’s stepping into a new role, that of a wife. “It’s such a beautiful chapter. We’re doing things our way, and I’m soaking up every moment,” Anele said with joy.
