Condolences Pour In For Gospel Legend Deborah Fraser. Multi-award winning Gospel star Deborah Fraser sadly passed away this past weekend. According to a statement released by her family, she passed on on Sunday sorrounded by her family after a short illness.

The news came as a shock to fans and Deborah’s industry peers who took to social media to express their sadness over the tragic and sudden loss. Fellow gospel legend Rebecca Malope took to Instagram sharing a throwback video to her gospel show when she performed with Deborah and Benjamin Dube. “What a great loss to us all Lala Ngoxolo Sisi Wami my deepest condolences to the family and friends of our beloved Deborah Fraser,” Dr Malope wrote.

Mam’ Deborah…This still feels so unreal…You were a Mother, a Healer, Worshipper and Teacher. You were bold and funny, loving and gifted.
