This is the 13th year that the 2021 Feather Awards will be commencing and the upcoming awards ceremony is set to take place on 11 November at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
The 2021 theme for the awards is “Queer Lives Matter”, which speaks to the global conversation surrounding the LGBTIQ social issues that include hate crimes against the queer members of the community. The platform aims celebrate those affiliated with the LGBTQ community and have made an impact in one way or another.
