Bonang Opens Up About How AKA Asked Her To Be His Girlfriend

Bonang and AKA had their most candid interview ever with YOU Magazine after winning Best Couple at the YOU Spec Awards. In an interview with the mag, the media personality relives the moment she knew AKA was the guy for her. Bonang opens up about how AKA asked her to be his girlfriend.

Bonang says “the conversation” that started it all happened at AKA’s house. “There was a conversation that happened at his house. He won’t remember it but it was just him and me and he said ‘I really want to be with you and I’m going to protect you, I’m going to protect us and I’m going to fight for us because this is what I really, really want’,” she told the mag.

Bonang says she remembers thinking to herself in that moment that AKA was the guy she has been looking for. “From that moment on I was like, ‘this is my man, this is what I asked God for, a partner you appreciate and respect, somebody who respects you’,” she said.
