Black Twitter Weighs In On Thando Thabethe‘s Awkward Exchange With AKA About His Famous Tell All Interview. Things are getting heated in the streets of twitter following a viral clip of Thando Thabethe’s interview with AKA and Costa Titch. The Supa Mega recently was a guest on Thando’s drive time show on 947 where he came to speak about his new project with Costa Titch.
This follows the rappers time out from his music and social media after the death of his wife Nelli Tembe. The tragic incident that took place in Cape Town a few months ago was surrounded by controversy following leaked photos and allegations about the rapper’s mistreatment Tembe leading up to her death.
Following Nelli’s death, the rapper did a tell all interview with Enca journalist Thembekile Mrototo where he answered burning questions about his relationship with his deceased bride and his relationship with her family. Thabethe raised up the interview during her conversation with the rapper, claiming that she wanted to speak about the “elephant in the room“.
AKA seemed to be confused what elephant Thando was referring to when she brought up the peoples opinion about his tell all interview. Thando addressed the rapper about people who felt like he said nothing the interview. Thabethe gave the rapper a platform to say speak to the “incident” that occurred, when the rapper shut the topic down really quickly.
AKA did not take kindly to the death of his wife being referred to as an incident and told Thando that it’s none of anybody’s business. The moment was definitely awkward and left many people talking about how he must have anticipated the question. Social media users have praised Thando for handling the situation like a professional even though the guest was rude.
Others felt that Thando crossed the line by swaying the focus off of his upcoming project and trying to get a juicy scoop on the rappers expense. AKA stans has praised him for standing up for himself from journalists trying to use celebs as tools to up the ratings.
