If there’s one confident woman in the entertainment industry, it’s Anele Mdoda. She is the epitome of what it means to be unapologetically yourself and people loving you for it. You can imagine her disappointment when a follower told her about her friend who thought of changing her career because of the way she looked.  Anele mad at people’s views of body size in showbiz.

“My friend, a journalism graduate, was constantly being told that she had chosen the wrong career for her body size and skin colour is not that of one of the typical girls we see on television, the yellow bones, the petite, the IT girls,” the follower commented on the above photo of Anele.

She went on to thank the media personality for embracing who she is and serving as a role model for many. “You are such an inspiration to young women who believe you need to look a certain way in order to have a successful career in media.”

“Because when people can’t do something, they try make you row on the same boat. So mad that this is what people are convincing little girls across the world,” Anele responded.
