Andile Gumbi Bids Farewell To Isibaya! Gumbi has slammed reports that he was fired from the show because he’s show up late and drunk and or didn’t show up on set at all.

“It was my biggest surprise when I got to work on Monday morning and was told by my company manager that there was some news circulating that I was fired from Isibaya,’ the actor told TshisaLIVE.

My move to join (theatre production) King Kong was discussed with the producers of Isibaya and I finished, wrapped and moved to Cape Town to start rehearsals on the 12th of June,” he told TshisaLIVE.

“We can confirm that Andile Gumbi is leaving Isibaya. He was not fired at all. He will be filming a movie,” M-Net publicist Nondumiso Mabece said.

“My move to join (theatre production) King Kong was discussed with the producers of Isibaya and I finished, wrapped and moved to Cape Town to start rehearsals on the 12th of June,” Gumbi also told TshisaLIVE.
