Amanda Du Pont to launch her own shoe line. The actress is venturing into fashion as she expanding her empire. Amanda is teaming up with designer shoe company, Footwork South Africa to create her own designer shoe range.
Footwear has always been a very popular industry, as fashion retailers really experiment with styles, patterns, colours and so on. In South Africa, this is no different, and for Amanda, this is a major breakthrough in her career. There are so many different tastes and fashion ideas for shoes, and they are deemed one of the most important accessories to compliment an outfit. Even house slippers and trainers can be designer and a good way to accessorize. However, going out shoes like heels and perhaps even some Knee high boots UK style, are something that are a little easier to develop and create. Either way, Amanda would probably be ecstatic at this point, and shoe lovers all over the world will be excited to see what she has in store for us.
Speaking to a local publication, Amanda says she is incredibly humbled and excited about her collaboration with designer shoe company, Footwork South Africa.
“Footwork is a shoe brand that can be found in all major retailers in South Africa‚ so you can imagine how excited I was when they approached me,” she said.
Amanda will be involved in the entire process of making the shoes in this collection. From the design to naming them‚ everything will reflect her and her love for shoes. The actress also revealed she will name the shoes after her siblings and loved ones.
“All the shoes in the line are stilettoes and is very much in line with my personal shoe style,” she said. Congrats to Miss Du Pont, we can’t wait to see the collection.
