Fast Rising Nigerian Actress, Chioma Umeala Returns To Isono, BET AFRICA’s Original Daily Drama! BET Africa (DStv129) has just announced that fast rising Nigerian actress, Chioma Umeala will be returning to the BET original daily drama ISONO, in her role as Ayo, Pastor Abiola’s strong-willed daughter. Playing the role of Ayo, Pastor Abiola’s daughter, Chioma embodies the grace and grit of a determined young woman who has been dealt many wrong hands, but fights to rise above unfair circumstances. 

Speaking about her role, Chioma said, “I am excited for the opportunity to get back into this role again. Ayo’s character is one I connect with deeply and mirrors my personal journey in many ways. Like me, Ayo is a strong-willed woman who always stands up for what she believes is right, even if it means creating tension. Viewers should expect to see the palpable tension between Ayo (Chioma) and Gabriel as they reunite after a long time apart. Lies, deceit and a baby seems to be the major factor in their relationship and a dear friend feels left out. The drama is on full blast as the vivacious Ayo comes back to this tumultuous scene. Chioma Umeala will be returning on the 30^th of November as Ayo, Pastor Abiola and Titi’s headstrong daughter, a rebel who constantly challenges her parents, especially when it comes to Abiola’s reliance on faith to heal all ills. She is romantically involved with Gabriel Ndlovu and fans should expect to see a lot on this relationship as she rejoins the show. 

ISONO is a BET original daily drama airing Monday to Thursday on BET Africa (DStv Channel 129, GOtv Channel 21). It is BET Africa’s first original drama series produced by Clive Morris Productions for BET Africa and features a star-studded cast of incredible talent, such as Nthati Moshesh, Moshidi Motshegwa, Bohang Moeko, Senzo Radebe and Anga Makhubalo.
