Multi-award-winning South African singer, songwriter and actress Busisiwe Thala, popularly known as CiCi, has shared some exciting news with her fans.
The talented singer has announced that she is expecting another child, marking the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in her life. CiCi shared the pregnancy news in a heartfelt social media post, giving her followers an intimate glimpse into the special moment and the anticipation surrounding the arrival of her unborn baby.
In the photos, CiCi proudly showed off her growing baby bump while dressed in a long white skirt with ruffles, paired with a Chanel top and gloves. The elegant look added to the celebratory mood of the announcement as she embraced her pregnancy journey.
Alongside the photos, the singer shared an emotional message about her unborn child, expressing just how deeply loved the baby already is.
CiCi captioned the posts, “Loved before we met, prayed for before we knew you, and cherished beyond words.”

CiCi is already a mother to a son named Diallo. She welcomed her first child on May 15, 2020, alongside her husband. The singer and her husband got married in 2019 and have previously opened up about their approach to parenting.
In a previous interview with Batswadi Magazine, CiCi spoke about the important role her husband plays as a parent and the support he gives her while she balances motherhood with her music career.
“One thing about me is that I’m very lucky because my husband is a very present parent. He doesn’t look at spending time with our son as babysitting. So I have a great support structure behind me, even when I’m out recording. Now, I still get mom guilt. I’ve been in the studio for the whole week, so I haven’t been able to see my son. Dad is the one who drops him off in the morning at school, and sometimes, I try to have my studio sessions after I’ve picked up him at school so I can get some time with him.”
She also highlighted the importance of having a supportive partner who shares the responsibilities of raising their child.
“But the most important takeaway is that I’m fortunate to have a supportive partner who’s able to take the load off and share responsibilities. He’s also a positive male figure, instilling in him positive masculine traits.”
As CiCi prepares to welcome her second child, the singer is entering another meaningful chapter of motherhood, surrounded by love and support from her family, friends and fans.
