Natasha Thahane Bags A New Acting Role. Blood And water actress Natasha Thahane is within her bag and has bagged another role in a blockbuster film. The movie is called Kedibone and see’s Natasha playing a lead role alongside other talented actors.
Natasha Thahane has proven over the years that she is more than capable of playing lead roles which have since been very memorable. One of the many huge roles she has played includes her latest gig on Netflix’s Blood And Water as the role of Wendy Dlamini. A few months ago, the actresses teased that she will be starring in a new local film but didn’t reveal too much about it. The cats is finally out of the bag and the details surrounding the film have now been released.
Kedibone is described as a coming of age South African feature film about an exotically beautiful Sotho girl by the name of Kedibone Manamela (Natasha Thahane), born and raised in Orlando East, Soweto who chooses to live her early youth on the fast lane. Veiled from her loyal childhood boyfriend’s (Wright Ngubeni) eyes, she bounces between being a good girl in the township and the it girl on the high end of Johannesburg streets. A dark threat looms over the day when the news of Kedibone’s escapades reach the young man.
Directed by Thomas Gumede and casted by Nolwazi Shange, the film debuts on DSTV Box Office during the month of November. The star studded cast of the film includes the likes of Wright Ngubeni, Kenneth Nkosi, Thabo Malema, Tessa Twala, Busisiwe Mtshali and more. fans of the actress shared how excited they are to watch the movie because of its relatable story and talented cast.
Thahane also appeared in the second season of Blood And Water released September 24th 2021. The much anticipated production was received very well by fans and even landed a spot in the top ten most watched shows on Netflix in the first week of its release. The news has not been confirmed as of yet but it seems like there might be a season three following soon and we can’t wait.
