Ntsiki Mazwai Reacts To Kuli Roberts Running For City Council Of Tshwane. We’ve seen many celebs affiliate with political parties and change from one political movement to another. Other celebs go as far as venturing into the political field and acquiring positions with the party.
Actress and TV personality Kuli Roberts is taking her influence a step further by running for city council. Kuli’s is campaign to run as Councillor of Tshwane and is nominated by the ATM (African Transformation Movement) to run as a candidate.
Kuli was said to have joined the party as a servant and has signed up to work for the people of South Africa. “Servant Kuli” is ATM Councillor Candidate for Ward 65 in Tshwane. A poster for her campaign calling for votes has been circulating on twitter and needless to say, people are shook by her latest career move. One person who voiced her shock is Ntsiki Mazwai, who clearly thinks the whole campaign is a hilarious joke.
Taking to twitter the GBV activist highlighted the irony of the situation as Kuli who was once a gossip monger has now all of a sudden turned into a leader and a hero. Mazwai shared that she is definitely not buying the acts Kuli is responsible for leaking information about her to the press.
“Remember when I was still young and Sunday World used to drag me every week….. Every week I was content as intlekisa….. That was boKuli Roberts……So erm…. Miss me on gossip mongers turning leaders” she wrote.
Ntsiki continued to claim how having good english does not make someone smart and she doesn’t believe that Kuli is the right pick for the job. More importantly, Ntsiki highlighted how she is not about to support a hypocrite, gossip monger wanting to turn into a hero over night.
Kuli’s supporters have defended her from the ridicule claiming that Roberts is very smart and they have no doubt that she will bring change to the country.
