Pic! Liesl Laurie Gives An Update On Her And Husband Musa’s Recovery Following Their Battle With COVID-19. Liesl Laurie and her husband Dr Musa Mthombeni have revealed that they both recently tested positive for the deadly virus. The couple have since been giving followers an update of their daily activities on social media as they both recover in the comfort of their home.
Earlier in the week, Musa revealed that he had been feeling some light COVID-19 symptoms and after he got tested, the results came back positive. Seeing that Musa and his bride to be Liesl Laurie are basically inseparable, she also unfortunately tested positive for the virus. The pair have since been cooped up in their humble abode and have been recovering from the virus together.
Laurie recently took to social media to give her followers an update on how the Mthombeni clan is holding up and it looks like things are still going on the right track. The former Miss South Africa winner sympathized with her husband who is a front line worker, sharing how he managed to dodge the bullet for 18 months but unfortunately, his luck caught up to him.
Liesl shared that battling the virus has been very challenging but as we can imagine, she is well taken care off by her dedicated husband and she is feeling more like herself again as the days go by.
“For about 18 months my Medical Doctor has managed to steer clear of the dreaded Covid-19 virus but a couple of days ago he (read we) tested positive. What a crazy, HECTIC experience but as you can understand I am well taken care of ❤️?Today is a good day and with each day of this rollercoaster ride that passes I feel more and more like myself. We are on the mend and would like to thank all our friends and family for the prayers. We are slowly but surely healing day by day” she wrote.
The pair recently had their lobola negotiations and although the day was kept private by the couple, they did share a few photos of the matching traditional attire that they both wore. Fans have been celebrating the couple since revealing their engagement and are very delighted by the royal treatment that Musa gives his Liesl on a daily basis.
