Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musida Publishes Her Own Children’s Book. Congratulations are in order for Miss South Africa winner Shudufhadzo for her latest life achievements. The Venda born pageant queen keeps on proving that she is not only just a looker but she is also quite the brainiac. Musida recently received her qualification from the University of Witwaterstrand (Wits) but she also has written and published her very first book.

Taking to social media, Shudu revealed her upcoming children’s book titled Shudu Finds Her Magic, and is focus on a very relevant topic for today which is bullying. The Miss SA winner shared how seeing the dream become a reality is a feeling that is unmatched and she is beaming with pride over the success of the project.

The book is written by Shudu with the help of talented illustrators who also did their best to make the passion project come to fruition. Musida describes the book as her heart captured on a page and hope the book stands by its purpose which is to build the courage of children and also teach them valuable life lessons.

“There are some moments in your life which you dream about but then to see it in real life, something tangible, something to hold. Now, that is something! I am filled with so much pride and joy to present this book authored by myself with beautiful illustrations by Chantelle and Burgen Thorne. A piece of my heart captured on a page, written especially for kids. A story of struggles and hope. Of falling down and getting back up and of the incredible journey we call life” she wrote.

Musida shared her hopes for the story to comfort children and remind them that they are never alone and that each and every child is special. The book will be available in six different languages and will be released around the country in August.

“I hope that through my story you will find comfort in the fact that you are not alone, that you matter, that the world needs you! None of us are perfect, we were never mean’t to be and that’s what makes us so special. The book will be available in 6 languages and available in bookstores around the country and online towards the end of August” she wrote.

Shudu has previously opened up to the public about her own trauma sustained due to bullying as a school child. Musida shared that when she was 11 or 12 years old she was physically assaulted by a group of boys and girls, and the one thing she remembers about the incident is how much she was apologizing for other peoples horrible behaviour.

Shudu continued to reveal that her peers were cheering on the boy who was kicking her in the ribs repetitively until she stopped crying. Musida claims that her mother was aware of the bullying at school but didn’t realize just how bad it was. Shudufhadzo is a living testament of how the sun always rises in the morning no matter how rainy it was the day before and we absolutely love it.

Congratulations Shudu!!
