Actress Masasa Mbangeni is one of the many celebs who have shared their battle with the virus on twitter with her followers, and how life has been after making a full recovery. Mbangeni tweeted about her fear of the virus and her hopes of receiving her vaccination jab ASAP. This was somehow translated as Masasa having passed on by social media users who have slowly been spreading the fake news of Masasa’s death hoax.
“I pray God keeps me till I get my vaccine . I’m so scared of this thing . I really got it quite bad when I had it , thank goodness I recovered at home but it took a while yhuuu” she wrote.
Taking to twitter, Masasa shared how her mother called her in a panic, after she was woken up from her sleep by a colleague who had heard the news of the actresses death from a Facebook post. According to the actress, the post stated that she had passed from COVID. This is a result of social media users who misunderstood her previous post.
The actress expressed her irritation of people who read to comment without understanding, pointing out how evil they are for having caused her mother unnecessary anxiety.
“Got a frantic call from my mother who said she was woken up from sleep from a call from a colleague saying that in Facebook they say I’m dead from Covid because of this tweet . People don’t read for comprehension neh , now my mother must get a fright because of stupidity” she wrote.
