“Somizi Won’t Make History” Ntsiki Mazwai Fires Shots At Somizi. Activist and poet Ntsiki Mazwai is back with her unapologetic opinions and this time she fired heavy shots Veteran media personality and icon Somizi Mhlongo, claiming that he has lost the essence of his craft and is now just an “empty vessel”.

In a series of tweets Ntsiki highlighted how some celebrities are the result of capitalism and only strive to distract people from the real social issues, making an example out of Somizi who according to her lost the essence of his craft a long time ago.

Mazwai boldly tweeted that the Somizi Mhlongo is no longer the renowned game changing mogul that he once was but instead, he has now transformed into just a rich man with no impact in the world. She also added that unless he somehow gets his magic back like the good old days, he won’t make history.

“Lol it’s cute if u think people like Somizi will make history…. Maybe the old Somizi who had a craft. But the new Somizi is just gonna be rich in this lifetime but won’t make history. Money and wealth doesn’t make history unless you CREATED something” Nstiki wrote.

In a follow up tweet, Ntsiki further dragged Somizi refering him to an empty vessel that makes a lot of noise.

“Capitalism gave us celebrities to distract us from real issues affecting us…. Who is the Somizi of white people?? Or it’s just us who celebrate empty vessels who shout loudly” Ntsiki wrote.

Somizi is yet to answer to these hectic tweets but we are very interested to see how this pans out.
