Court Rules In Favor Of DJ Fresh In Ntsiki Mazwai Lawsuit. Nsiki Mazwai’s quest for justice has taken a bit of a left turn after the Johannesburg High Court ruled in favor of DJ Fresh on account of infringement.

The court has ordered Mazwai to refrain from making further statements regarding 947 radio host DJ Fresh after she called him a rapist in a social media post.

“I’m on Facebook and there is a thread exposing celebrity rapists… I’m posting all. I’m starting with the allegation against DJ Fresh. because famous men abuse their power” Ntsiki wrote.

The ‘Big Dawg’ as he is affectionately known had since demanded Mazwai remove the controversial post on Facebook as she had no evidence to support her claim.

The radio veteran appealed to the court for Mazwai to retract her statement and since then, the court has now ruled in the DJ’s favor, also ordering the poet to cease from making further defamatory statements against him.

Judge Brian Spilg ordered that Mazwai stop infringing on the DJ’s dignity, rights and privacy as cited in the Constitution, accusing the feminist for using her activism in a negative manner.
