Watch! Somizi’s Touching Tribute And Eulogy To His Mom At Her Funeral Service! The funeral service of legendary actress Mary Twala was held Thursday morning with only a few people in attendance due to the lockdown regulations.
The rest of the world watched via live stream as Somizi paid tribute to his mother with a heartfelt, touching eulogy. Somizi thanked South Africa for giving his mother her flowers whilst she could still smell them and thanked her for what she did for him as a mother.
“I know I’ve lost a mother on earth but I’ve gained the most powerful ancestor. Anyone shouldn’t be surprised if I rise beyond because I’ve got the most generous ancestor. Mama, I know how when you angry, how you become so I promise to never make you an angry ancestor. I don’t want to be on the wrong side of anything ezakuwe,” Somizi said.
In attendance was also Somizi’s good friend Bonang Matheba. Somizi’s husband, Mohale stood by him as he paid his last respects to his mother.
“Thank you for instilling everything that I am today. My mother was the most punctual person I know, so I know that even her death was on time to a point where she leaves around my dad’s birthday and she’s buried on my husband’s birthday.
