Somizi Sends His Daughter Bahumi Encouraging Message As Critics Get Louder Over Lebo Mathosa Role! Somizi’s daughter Bahumi Mhlongo is set to portray a younger Lebo Mathosa in the upcoming biopic to air on BET Africa.
Kelly Khumalo who was set to play the older Lebo Mathosa pulled out of the project and was replaced by another triple threat KB Motsilanyane. “The fondest memory I have of Lebo Mathosa was from when I was five or six and we went to the Rand Easter Show, a show where her and my father were performing. I remember she was this amazing powerhouse on stage… and was always so maternal and protective over me and I think that is why I really want to tell her sincere, humble and emotional side,” Bahumi said in a recent interview.
With all that on her side and the fact she resembles the late star, social media critics have not been kind since the news broke out. As the critics get louder, Bahumi’s father, Somizi is standing up for his daughter sending a clear message to the haters. Somizi took to social media on Wednesday making his daughter his ‘woman crush Wednesday’ along with encouraging message.
“WCW to my daughter. From a very super proud dad. Never for one second think of down sizing yoself. Never for a minute dim yo light,” Somizi wrote. Now that’s how you silence haters!
