Somizi Opens Up About Broken Friendship With Bonang

Somizi opens up about brokeN friendship with Bonang. In a recent episode of his reality show, Somizi finally shed some light on what really happened that broke his friendship with media personality Bonang Matheba. He also shares details of the awkward encounter they had meeting for the first time four months after ‘splitting’.

Turns out Bonang and Somizi met this year for the first time at the SAFTAS rehearsal following four months of no contact or seeing each other.

“At this stage I hadn’t seen Bonang for like four months, we’d been friends for over five years and in my head, we were BFFs…and then one morning I wake up and she’s not talking to me and I then hear from people that she unfollowed me on Twitter and on Instagram,” Somizi narrated the story on his reality show.

Somizi says the last time he had spoken to Bonang, she was in Mauritius the night before telling him how much she missed him. “Then the next thing dololo,” said Somizi.

Turns out it’s true that the friendship ended because of the whole AKA/Zinhle/Bonang love triangle. Apparently Bonang believes Somizi was going behind her back telling Zinhle about her ceating with AKA.

“All I hear is that she thinks or she was told that I told Zinhle about her relationship with AKA… but why? Why would I do that to her? I want the three of them, Zinhle, AKA and Bonang, to sit down and tell me who said that I said what. I’m too old for this sh***. People come in your life and leave for a reason.”
