Hulisani Is Not Getting Married, Just Yet!

Calm down, Hulisani is not getting married, just yet! The media personality sparked headlines that she was gearing up to walk down the isle after she shared that she was going back to her roots to learn more about her culture.

Hulisani who has been dating rapper and actor Psyfo says the that she’s on right now isn’t specifically about marriage or children but finding out about the role of a woman in her culture and the rite of passage that a young woman experiences as she goes from being a girl to being a woman.

“The reason I think it’s important is because as time has gone by we have become such a westernised society, and our cultures are getting lost in all of this”,  she says.

“I find that we know a lot about things that have nothing to do with our country or our cultures, things like July 4th or Halloween. I just wanted to go on this journey so that I have enough information so that one day when I do have children, I have a legacy to pass on”, explained Hulisani.

Hulisani says she wasn’t motivated because she’s getting married or about to have a baby, that is not what is happening in her life right now.

“I’m not about to get married and I’m not about to have a baby. It’s just that I’m getting older. It’s two years to 30 and at that stage I will feel that I’m ready to get married and to have children, and if it happens it happens. But it was not the full motivation to say hey, I’m getting married next year, so I need to learn about my culture.”

There you have it people, Hulisani is not getting married, just yet! She has been dating Syfo for more than a decade, you can’t blame us for wishful thinking.
