Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala Celebrates Her 40th Birthday

Former Miss South Africa 2010 and National Director of Miss Supranational South Africa, Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, is celebrating a major milestone as she turns 40. The beauty queen and businesswoman took a moment to reflect on her journey, sharing heartfelt and meaningful words about growth, identity, and rediscovering herself.

Bokang posted a series of throwback pictures and opened up about the woman she used to be before becoming a mother. She wrote, “HAPPY 40th birthday to ME
I found a few pictures of myself from years ago, before my children ever existed,
They’ll never know the girl who ….
Was freely singing & dancing in the rain believing one day she will be a star, the one who believed she was the most beautiful girl in the world,
The young girl who was brave enough to leave her home, juggling my talents and studies, signing herself up for international pageants, they will never get to see the girl whose life changed forever at age 24, oh she was fierce, she was aggressive with her dreams!!!
They won’t ever get to meet that version of me And so as I step into my 40s I know pieces of her are still here … I feel her coming back to me, I feel my fire being reignited..
I am a woman who knows that the grass is greener whenever I am, that I carry my worth within me, it can’t be measured by titles or achievements, a woman who puts herself FIRST…
I might be a different version of her but Pieces of her are still here, still loud enough to teach my kids what being brave looks like.”

Her message struck a chord with many, as she embraced both her past and present self with pride and confidence.
