Meet the Top 10 Finalists for Miss South Africa 2025

The spotlight is on the ten inspiring finalists who will compete for the title of Miss South Africa 2025. One of them will be crowned on 25 October 2025 at the SunBet Arena, Times Square in Pretoria.

This year, the Miss South Africa Organisation has reimagined the crown—the winner will not only wear it with pride but also use her platform to create lasting and meaningful impact.

The Top 10 were shortlisted by a panel of judges, with the process overseen by a respected auditing firm. The panel included:

  • Devi Sankaree Govender – celebrated journalist, TV presenter, and former Miss South Africa judge.
  • Ndavi Nokeri – model, entrepreneur, education equity activist, Miss South Africa 2022, and Top 16 finalist at Miss Universe.
  • Liezel van der Westhuizen – certified neuroscience and mental fitness/executive business coach, endurance athlete, and broadcaster.

After weeks of deliberation, 10 phenomenal women have emerged, each bringing unique stories of resilience, ambition, and advocacy.

The Top 10 Finalists (Alphabetical Order)

Bridgette Jones (28) – Bridgetown, Athlone, Cape Town

A flight attendant studying Management through the German International University of Applied Sciences. She dreams of gaining global academic and professional experience to collaborate across borders.

Motto: “No one gets left behind.”

Ghee-Ann Rademan (23) – Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

Holds a BA in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University and founded an online counselling platform for young girls and women. She wants to use the Miss SA platform to amplify conversations on mental health.

Motto: “Here to love and to serve.”

Gizelle Venske (27) – Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng (now in Pretoria)

A Chartered Accountant with international audit experience in Sydney, now working as a Business Development Manager. She advocates for ethical financial practices and mentors peers in financial literacy.

Motto: “A woman who follows her own footsteps will find herself in places no one else has ever been.”

Karabo Mareka (28) – Alexandra, Gauteng (based in Virginia, USA)

A flight attendant with United Airlines. She wants to inspire South African youth facing financial constraints to dream big and explore global opportunities.

Motto: “You will never know unless you try. What do you have to lose?”

Lebo Msimanga (27) – Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal (now in Midrand)

Holds a BCom in Economics and Marketing and works as a client manager and model. Through her foundation, she mentors youth in leadership and volunteers to feed underprivileged schoolchildren.

Motto: “Stick to the plan, not your mood.”

Luyanda Zuma (23) – Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal (now in Johannesburg)

An actress, model, and Top 10 Miss SA 2022 finalist with a BA in Live Performance from AFDA. She runs a media house and a youth foundation supporting orphanages and African storytelling.

Motto: “You are never too young to lead.”

Nelly Mashile (28) – Daveyton, Benoni (now in Boksburg)

A doctor and surgeon with degrees from Cuba and Wits University. Raised in a disadvantaged background, she champions access to education and opportunities through her Ignite Unite initiative.

Motto: “Dream big; Reality will be bigger.”

Nthabiseng Kgasi (30) – Soweto, Gauteng (now in Bryanston)

A Marketing Manager with degrees from Monash University. She’s passionate about bridging the digital divide and runs a social media management company empowering small businesses.

Motto: “Let your ‘why’ guide you every step of the way.”

Qhawekazi Mazaleni (24) – Gonubie, East London (now in Randburg)

A speech therapist pursuing her Master’s at the University of Pretoria, focusing on Autism. She advocates for bridging cultural and linguistic gaps in therapy and making meaningful community impact.

Motto: “It’s only embarrassing if you’re embarrassed. Don’t be afraid to be seen trying.”

Zanele Phakathi (27) – Soweto, Gauteng (now in Pretoria)

Holds an advanced diploma in Business Information Technology and works in Enterprise Architecture at the Public Investment Corporation. She also mentors young models and runs an education-focused foundation.

Motto: “God’s timing is perfect.”

A Crown with Purpose

The Miss South Africa 2025 competition isn’t just about beauty—it’s about vision, purpose, and change. Each of these finalists is ready to use the crown to inspire, empower, and leave a legacy of impact.

Come 25 October 2025, only one will walk away with the title. But all ten have already proven they are queens in their own right.
