We’re pretty sure all of you have had your questions regarding AKA and DJ Zinhle’s relationship and what’s next after the baby right?
As we all know DJ Zinhle originates from KZN and well it’s nothing new to South Africans that Zulu’s are quite strict when it comes to following costumes and traditional rules.
Zinhle and AKA have been dating for a while now and are currently expecting their first child together and well the couple is practically counting down the days until the arrival of little Forbes Junior.
Last week Friday Zinhle launched her blog site MOMents By DJ Zinhle where she shares intimate moments and MOMents about her pregnancy and relationship with the self proclaimed King of Hip Hop AKA.
We know so little and so much more than we did last year about the couple’s relationship but the two have never mentioned marriage.
Apparently DJ Zinhle’s very strict Zulu family is not too happy about her falling pregnant out of wedlock and they expect AKA to amend is ‘mistake’ by paying ‘damages’. According to Sunday Sun AKA has not even met Zinhle’s family since making her pregnant.
Zinhle’s uncle Mbonbeni Jiyane spoke to the paper and revealed that AKA’s family has not even come forward to ‘report’ the pregnancy to them.
“He actually didn’t want us to meet his family. That boy is crazy. He must pay damages – finish and klaar,” Mbonbeni added.
Uncle Mbonbeni then explained to the paper that AKA needs to understand that in the Zulu culture certain procedures are to be followed when a man makes a girl pregnant out of wedlock. First he needs to pay damages, followed by marrying her.
The paper also reports that Zinhle’s mother says that she hopes that the rapper comes forward with the ‘damages’ money soon.
