Our favourite sports personality and South Africa’s TV favourite Minnie Dlamini has been linked to a new man in her life just a week after she had spoken about how she’s over Itumeleng Khune and everyone should get on that bus too.
Was Minnie indirectly preparing us to introduce her new man?
Over the weekend Sunday World reported that Minnie has been dating Quinton Jones who reportedly works at the same company as Miss Dlamini, Urban Brew Studios.
The paper reports that two sources revealed that even though Minnie claims that her and Jones are just friends they’ve actually been dating for over six months now.
One of the sources is reported to be one of Minnie’s close friends and was quoted saying;
“If you don’t believe me, ask them why they travelled together to Botswana to attend the Samsung launch, where Minnie was the MC.”
“If they deny that, ask them about their trip to Germany this week where they are going to watch the Uefa Champions League . Minnie was invited by Adidas so they decided to buy a ticket for Squinzo (Jones’s nickname and Twitter handle) so they can enjoy a working holiday,” the source continued.
Sunday World then approached Mister Jones to comment on the allegations and all he had to say was; “I’m sorry I can’t help you with that. No comment.”
The two apparently met each other when Minnie was still a presenter on SABC 1’s music show LIVE. Dlamini’s manager was also contacted for comment and declined to speak on the issue.
