Lerato K On Her Ex, Katlego Mashego: “We will always love each other”

Lerato Kganyago had quite an extensive and open interview with DRUM magazine recently.

First the TV personality and DJ touched on how she was being compared to Bonang Matheba and how shes trying to hard to be her. Lerato was quick to shut those comments down by simply saying:

“That’s an insult. It’s frustrating because I find myself trying to change my voice. I tried to change so I wouldn’t be compared to anyone, but I realised I’m being unfair to myself.”

Lerato went on further to tell DRUM that there really isn’t any beef between her and Queen B and that they’re okay with each other.

Besides not having bad blood with Bonang, Lerato says her and her ex-fiancé Katlego Mashego are on good terms regardless of the downfall their relationship took. Lerato and Katlego’s relationship ended after she allegedly caught him cheating which then apparently led to her calling off the engagement.

Lerato cleared the air with DRUM when she poured cold water on the cheating allegations: “We will always love each other and we will always protect each other. We’re both in a happy place. If God wants us to be together again it will happen.”

Kganyago futher went on to advise people not to stay in toxic relationships and to always stand their ground: “We were taught that we should get married and have kids, but I’m not sure about that. Don’t stay in a bad relationship.”
