5 Things You Need To Know About The New Miss SA 2018 Tamaryn Green! Tamaryn Green was crowned the new Miss South Africa 2018 Sunday night at Sun Arena in Pretoria. Check out these five fun facts about the new Miss SA below.

1. She is 23 years old.  The beauty was born in Paarl, Western Cape.

2. As the winner, she walked away with a tidy prize package totalling R3 million.

3.. She is a final year Medicine student (MBChB) at the University of Cape Town.

4. She is a former Miss Immanuel, Miss New Orleans, Miss Rochester and Miss Funky Buddha.

5. Tamaryn ‘s father is a Curriculum Advisor and her mom is a grade R school teacher. She has two siblings. An older sister (26) who is a qualified physiotherapist and a younger brother (19 ) who is currently in his second year studying BA Humanities.
