A few years ago, black twitter felt the Miss SA organization was sabotaging Ntando Kunene (now Mthethwa) by giving her a confusing dress and now they feel the same with Zozi Tunzi’s dress.
On Friday Zozi unveiled her official Miss Universe dress. “Revealing the Wave of Love National Costume designed by Lloyd Kandlin of The Costume Department, Zozi is adorned in love letters written for the women of South Africa,” the Miss SA pageant announced along with photos on social media.
Black twitter was left disappointed by the dress with only a few keeping it positive. One thing that is clear from the reactions is that if Zozi loses, it’s not her own fault but the dress.
