Actress and radio personality Zola Mhlongo is making waves in the entertainment industry. The 31-year-old stars on Mzansi Magic’s My Brother’s Keeper and co-hosts the weekend breakfast show on Metro FM. While fans love her on the radio, her TV character, Nkosazana, isn’t as popular.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Zola shared her excitement about her career: “To be quite honest, God’s grace is sufficient. I’m really just pouring my heart and soul into all my God-given talents. This is only the beginning. I know there’s still so much that needs to be done and so much that I need to achieve.”

Zola’s character on My Brother’s Keeper began as a makhwapheni (secret lover) and evolved into a potential second wife, which has sparked strong reactions. “My character is very special. I’ve loved playing her and learning from her. A woman who is really ambitious but in need of belonging. It’s such a blessing to evoke emotions in people. All the hate is a response to a beautifully written storyline.”

Zola’s Metro FM breakfast show, co-hosted by Somizi Mhlongo, Andile Ncube, and Keorapetse Hlope, is known for its fun, especially their viral dance videos. “The show is created by talented individuals, and we wanted to bridge the gap between radio and digital platforms,” she said.

She also teased more projects: “Check out How to Manifest A Man, my shapewear company Undefined Shapes, and the upcoming show Show Me Your Funny.”

With so much on the go, Zola Mhlongo is showing no signs of slowing down!
