Zodwa WaBantu Blasts Zim Actress Who Had Her Banned! The dancer and socialite has slammed a Zimbabwean actress Anne Nhira who wrote a letter to the government to have Zodwa banned from performing at Harare International festival.
Nhira had questioned why a South African was being booked to perform when there are many young Zimbabweans who were working hard and more than capable of doing the same job.
In response, Zodwa who learnt about the ban on social media said the ‘failed actress’ was jealous and trying to make a name for herself using her.
“To be honest I don’t even understand where she is coming from. If I was a nobody, I wouldn’t have received the invite in the first place. So maybe it comes from a place of jealousy. Why would a person just randomly write such a letter?” Zodwa said.
“I will remain Zodwa whether I perform there or not. For her, people will now know who she is because of me,” she said.
