How this for world domination?! Zakes Bantwini wants to be the Nelson Mandela of music. The music executive revealed his bold plans taking his music to a level where it will be good enough for him to be regarded as the ‘Nelson Mandela of music’.
Zakes is one step closer to his dream as he was one of the celebrities who are featured in Nicky Greenwall’s book, “I’m Famous in South Africa”.
“Young people who say they just want to be ‘part’ of the music industry, I’d say you’re in the wrong industry. You just cannot be part of the music industry. You want to be an innovator and someone who’s bringing something new in this industry,” he says in the book.
Zakes says he knows how people who don’t understand his vision will probably laugh upon hearing his dream of becoming the Nelson Mandela of music.
