“I Did See Myself Marrying Him,” Says Minnie Dlamini On Khune

Minnie Dlamini got candid about her failed relationship with Khune on Anele’s talk show. The TV host didn’t hold back from the now ex couple’s first date to their much publicized break-up. “I did see myself marrying him,” says Minnie Dlamini on Khune.

On how they met, Minnie says Khune got her number from a mutual friend, he called her and asked her out. Minnie says she told the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper she’d be out of town working and he offered to pick her up from the airport when she got back.

“He said I will fetch you from the airport then we can have lunch and I will take you home. We had sushi and it became our favorite,’ Minnie told Anele.

On her much publicized break-up, Minnie says there are different factors which caused them to call it quits. She however says she doesn’t believe going public on social media was the reason for the break-up.

“I was happy when it was good. It was the kind of relationship I didn’t see ending. I did see myself marrying him,” Minnie candidly said. Minnie told Anele the reason why she was so heartbroken when it ended was because she gave the relationship her all.

The media personality admitted that at the end of the relationship a lot of the social media posts was for show saying she felt the pressure to keep everything under wraps in order to protect his and her career.
