Watch! Pearl Thusi On Why She Doesn’t Consider DJ Zinhle Married. On the recent episode of Black Rose Kitchen, Pearl made a claim about of her best friend’s relationship as to whether or not she is married.
Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle’s friendship has made headlines with speculations that they have not been on the best terms, following the incident of her and Zinhle being mean to each other at a DJing event. The duo have been friends for a couple of years, as the two have been known for rocking matching outfits, travelling together, partying together and going to war for each other.
Zinhle, who had been previous public relationships with the late rapper, AKA, controversial businessman, Brandon Naidoo and is now currently with former, Black Motion’s member Murdah Bongz. In late 2022 on her BET reality show, ‘The Unexpected’ DJ Zinhle revealed that she and her boyfriend had gotten married and showed just a glimpse of some of her proceedings. Now, her best friend Pearl is sharing why her best friend should not be considered married.
Pearl was having a conversation with Moozlie when she made a statement about her not feeling pressured to have kids like them and not being married. To which Moozlie exclaimed, “Zinhle is married, guys!” Pearl then retorted, “Zinhle has not been to Church. There has to be mabo, membeso and mbondo, there’s three things after the lotsholwa situation before you can get married in Zulu culture. I don’t know in Murdah’s culture what’s happening, culture can be very different within the Zulu community but where I am from that’s an engagement.”
The comments made by Pearl have caused a bit of a furore on twitter, with some tweeps saying that she is a jealous friend, others saying that she is indeed correct. Others even suggesting that she is a dumb woman who doesn’t know what she is talking about.
