Watch! Nay Maps Walks His Sister Down The Aisle On Her Wedding Day. The past weekend marked a very special one for big brother Nay Maps as he gave away his younger sister’s hand in marriage. The Uzalo actors younger sister Thando tied the knot to the love of her life in a beautiful white wedding and although her father wasn’t present for special occasion, luckily her brother was.

Taking to Instagram the actor shared photos and a video from the special day that he describes as a life changing experience. The actor penned a heartfelt not about August 26 which is the day where he had to stand in for his father, who unfortunately missed the opportunity of walking his princess down the aisle. Both Nay and his mother held Thando’s hand down the aisle and it definitely was an emotional moment for the family.

“An Epic Life-Changing Experience took place last week on 26 August 2021….As a Big Brother, Standing in for uBaba, uMa the Queen Mother and I walked my Precious Pearl Love, Daddy’s Princess @thandomaps down the isle… What a Spiritual and Blessed Day this was” he wrote.

Maps recently mourned the death of his father Bishop Simeon Maphalala, who passed away early this year. The actor previously took to social media to share a few sentimental moments with his family, expressing that life has not been the same without his father and he will always hold him near and dear to his heart.

Bishop Maphalala passed at the age of 59 and the cause of his sudden passing is still unknown. We hope the actor and his family find peace and healing from this difficult time.
