Watch! Lasizwe Breaks His Silence On Why He Lied About Buying A New House. Telling a little white lie is never a big deal except when you do it to the public on social media. That is exactly what happened to Lasizwe a few years ago, when he told a lie about buying a new home. While everyone was busy congratulating the YouTuber on a wonderful achievement, big sister Khanyi was not about to watch the lie play out any longer.
On the latest episode of Lasizwe’s YouTube show Drink Or Tell The truth, Nandi Madida was a guest on the show and she was an absolute sweet heart as usual. The Black Is King actress has a very squeaky clean reputation when it comes to scandals in the media, whereas Lasizwe has had his fair share of dragging on twitter.
Nandi asked the reality star a question about his stunt back in 2018 where he was called out by his sister Khanyi Mbau for lying to the public. Dambuza had moved into a new apartment in Sandton but had told the media that he had bought a new house. Mbau then came out to pour cold water on the news, claiming that Lasizwe was lying.
The reality star explained that he had moved into his new apartment and posted about it saying “Soweto to Sandton. Shortly after people started congratulating him on buying a new home and he just ran with it. Khanyi then called him and confronted him about the lie and threatened to spill the beans if he didn’t come clean. Lasizwe dared her to do it and lets just say that Khanyi is a woman of her word.
“She said speak or l’ll talk and I was like I dare you cause back then we were trying to figure out ourselves and our relationship so I was like I dare you. I was like are you gonna go ahead with it and she did it and after that we didn’t speak like for months there was no talking to each other” he said.
Lasizwe claims that he is grateful that Khanyi told the truth because the entire situation had the potential of spinning out of control. The two now have the best sibling relationship and have become Mzansi’s favourite fabulous celeb family duo.
