Watch! Connie Pays Tribute To Shona Ahead Of ‘Kings Of Jo’burg’ Premiere. Season two of Netflix series ‘Kings Of Joburg’ is officially out and the cast and crew have been sharing their thoughts on the show and what to expect.
Taking to her Instagram account this morning, Connie Ferguson shared how they kept her husband Shona’s memory alive in the second season of the series. Shona not only starred in the series but he was the one who created it. “We needed to honour him, we kept his memory alive,” adding that “people are going to really enjoy,” what they have done with the new season of ‘Kings Of Joburg’.
According to News24, Shona Ferguson who cofounded and executive produced Ferguson films died of COVID-19 complications at the age of 47.

You will never be forgotten. You continue to be loved beyond measure, and you live on your in all of us! I love you FOREVER!❤️,” Connie captioned a video clip in which Shona talks about how big the production is.
The series, ‘Kings Of Joburg’ is about a criminal syndicate run by the Masire brothers. Shona Ferguson played the character of one of the brothers alongside Zolisa Xaluva. We can’t wait to see how they included Shonan in the series without his physical presence. The cast also includes Thembi Seete, Buhle Samuels, Cindy Mahlangu, Abdul Khoza, Tsholofelo Matshaba amongst others.
