Watch! Connie Ferguson Returns To The Queen Mzansi Set. Its been over month since Connie Ferguson lost her husband Shona, who succumbed to COVID-19 related complications. Although it has been a very tough time for the actress and her family, the show must go on and she has officially returned to work. Connie took to social media to announce her return to set where she received a warm welcome back from her colleagues.
Upon her return, Connie’s coworkers did a little celebration to officially welcome the boss lady back to work with a balloons and gifts. Ferguson thanked her colleagues for the lovely surprise sharing that she is happy to be serving a purpose that is much bigger than her. She added that she is thankful to be continuing her journey with the people she now call family as they continue to success.
“I love you all so much! Thank you for today.?? It’s good to do what you love knowing it’s for a purpose bigger than yourself. I’m grateful that we continue to walk this journey together, and all our wins and victories are to the glory of the almighty God. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” she wrote.
Connie also shared footage of herself arriving on the set of The Queen where she is greeted by the cast and crew who seemed happy to see her. Connie being a women of the bible quoted a bible verse that speaks to overcoming the of tomorrow, which she has done successfully.
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” she wrote.
Connie recently shared that she misses her Carpet Sunday tradition that she used to have with Shona as this was the day they would lay on the carpet and talking about everything at their hearts desire. The actress spoke on how much she misses his physical presence even though, she can still feel his spirit. Connie has only recently had the courage to lay on the carpet since her husband’s passing.
