Surtie-Richards is best known for her role in the long-running hit M-Net series Egoli: Place of Gold, SABC1’s Generations, kykNet series Arendsvlei and many more. she also starred in hit films such as Fiela se Kind, Mama Jack, Treurgrond, and Vaselinetjie and her latest role on Netflix movie Slay.
Richards was mainly known for her decades of work in the performing arts industry however, she qualified as a nursery school teacher and taught children before making her debut as an actress. The late actress has since been trending on social media as the masses have been pouring in tributes and condolences on the platform to the actress and those affected by her passing.
