With more fame comes unwanted attention. Sphelele found herself having to put out a statement to defend herself after it was reported that she had collapsed on set and rushed to the hospital. An alleged source told a Durban publication how the actress was vomiting and complaining about feeling dizzy.
Contacted by the publication for a comment, Sphelele said the rumors were not true “I’m not sick, who is spreading all these lies? I have never been admitted to a hospital,” she reportedly said before hanging up the phone.
She later took to her Facebook page to clarify writing, “I did not collapse on set and I did not go to the hospital as per Isolezwe. Thank you to those who have reached out, I am fine thanks.❣ “
Glad the actress is okay, it’s interesting to note that she didn’t address the pregnancy rumors.
