Uzalo Risks Being Pulled Off Air Due To SABC Money Woes! SABC’s ongoing financial woes are said to affect the popular show’s production.
Despite Uzalo being the most watched TV show in the country, its future is uncertain. Sources close to the production company, Stained Glass TV, which produces the soapie, said the situation was so bad that they were thinking of stopping production or letting go of some of the staff members.
The public broadcaster reportedly said it is in talks to save the popular production.
“We had a meeting with the production house but I can not disclose to the public the outcomes,” SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said on reports that the SABC had failed to pay the production house, Stained Glass, resulting in it failing to pay actors and producers
