UN Honors Ayanda Borotho With Prestigious Award. Ayanda is a woman on a mission holding several titles to her name including acting, business and philanthropy. Ayanda is actively giving back to the country and now she is being recognized for her efforts.

The actress has been honored by the United Nations (UN) as one of Africa’s Most Influential People Under 40.

The motivational speaker and author is an avid social activist providing supplies to foreign nationals which is one of the reasons why she has also previously been honored as The Most Influential People Of African Decent (MIPAD)

Ayanda opened up to ZAlebs about what receiving the award really means to her.

“I feels humbling. I don’t think one goes about what they do from a place of passion and compassion looking for recognation. I think what it has certainly done for me is cement the ideology of a new normal that everyone keeps talking about at this time” she said.

Borotho is also using the lockdown time to work on her second book besides her other projects that are still in the making.
