South African global sensation Tyla Laura Seethal, best known simply as Tyla, continues to show why she is loved across the world. The “Queen of Popiano,” known for blending pop and amapiano into her own unique sound, recently touched hearts after sharing an emotional message from one of her biggest fans.
Tyla posted the letter on her Instagram broadcast channel, which has grown to more than 400 000 members. The message came from Amber, a dedicated fan from France who describes herself as Tyla’s “biggest fan.” In her heartfelt letter, Amber explained how deeply Tyla’s music has impacted her life and why she felt compelled to send such a personal message.

I’m writing to you because I would love for Tyla to receive the personal message below. I’m not asking for an answer or anything in return – I simply hope she can read it one day, because her music truly means a lot to me.”
Amber then goes on to express her admiration for the star, writing, “Hi Tyla, I just wanted to send you a message from France to tell you how much your music means to me. I’ve been following you since Water first exploded, and ever since then, your voice, your energy, your style, your universe and your charisma have never stopped inspiring me.”
The fan shares how she received Tyla’s album for Christmas in 2024, listened to her entire discography, and even memorised more than 20 of her songs. “Your music makes me feel free and strong: you’re truly an example to me. Even from Europe, we see your work, your power, your artistry,” Amber wrote.
She continued by explaining her dream of watching Tyla perform live one day, saying she would attend any show in “Paris, London, Brussels, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Switzerland or Italy : anywhere in Europe.” She ended her message with a warm thank-you: “Merci pour tout ce que tu représentes. Hamba kahle, Tyla. With all my love and support, Amber.”
After receiving the touching letter, Tyla responded directly to Amber on her broadcast channel with a sweet reply that showed just how much she appreciated the message. “Amber, I love you girl,” she wrote.
