Tyla Set to Join Bruno Mars as Special Guest on 2027 Tour

South African music superstar Tyla is taking her global rise to another level, with the two-time Grammy Award-winning singer set to perform alongside the one and only Bruno Mars.

Tyla will join Bruno Mars as a special guest for the Australia and New Zealand leg of his highly anticipated The Romantic Tour in early 2027, giving fans across the region the chance to experience two major international stars on the same stage.

The newly added 2027 dates follow previously announced shows in Japan in January, before the tour heads down under. The Australia and New Zealand run will officially kick off on February 13 at Optus Stadium in Perth, setting the stage for what promises to be a huge series of stadium performances.

From Perth, the tour will continue with multiple nights in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland before eventually returning to Asia. For Tyla, the opportunity represents another major milestone in an already remarkable international career.

The South African superstar has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting names in global pop and R&B, and now she is preparing to bring her music to some of the world’s biggest stadiums as part of Mars’s expanded 2027 tour.

The announcement confirms that “2x GRAMMY® Award-winning global superstar Tyla will join Bruno as special guest on all Australia and New Zealand dates”, making her presence a key part of the newly announced shows.

But Tyla will not be the only major name adding star power to the tour. “9x GRAMMY® Award winner and Silk Sonic collaborator Anderson .Paak will perform as DJ Pee .Wee on all newly announced shows.”

With Bruno Mars headlining, Tyla bringing her unmistakable sound and energy, and Anderson .Paak stepping behind the decks as DJ Pee .Wee, the Australia and New Zealand leg is shaping up to be a serious celebration of global music.

For South African fans, Tyla’s latest international move is another reminder of just how far the singer’s music has travelled. From becoming a Grammy-winning sensation to sharing stadium stages with one of the world’s biggest performers, Tyla’s journey continues to get bigger — and 2027 looks set to be another major chapter.
