Reality TV star Tirelo, from Izingane ZeS’thembu, recently celebrated her son’s second birthday in the sweetest way. The 25-year-old mom and girlfriend of Mpumelelo Mseleku shared adorable pictures of her baby boy surrounded by colorful decorations and loving family members.
She posted a touching message on social media: “Two Fast, Two Curious. Happy 2nd Birthday to my pretty little baby. God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave me you. May your days continue to sparkle with wonder, your smile be ever bright, and your world filled with love and delight. I love you soo much KHO. Cheers to not being the terrible 2s but blessed 2.”
Mpumelelo Mseleku, who is the son of well-known polygamist Musa Mseleku, also wished his son a happy birthday. He wrote, “Happy birthday mfana wami. Singabakho Mthombeni,” which means “Happy birthday my child. You belong to us, Mthombeni.”
Tirelo has been part of the reality show Izingane ZeS’thembu, which follows the lives of Musa Mseleku’s children and their relationships. In past interviews, Tirelo has been honest about her complicated relationship with Mpumelelo. Some fans of the show have encouraged her to leave him, especially as he continues to date multiple women.
But Tirelo once told Daily Sun: “My response to that question is that I also don’t know why I’m still with him. I honestly don’t know. I don’t want to lie because when you love someone, you love them. People can’t even convince you to stop loving them. Sometimes not even God can move you away from that person. You’ll have to start realising for yourself and decide whether you want to leave or not.”
In the latest season, Mpumelelo introduced a new girlfriend, 20-year-old Amahle Biyelo, who is currently completing her final year of studies. She described him as “funny, loving, and kind.” Mpumelelo has even shared moments with Amahle on his social media.
This move sparked more criticism from viewers, many of whom believe he should focus on settling down. In season 2, he had said he wanted his first wife to be a virgin, which created even more controversy. His previous relationships with Nosipho Cele and Vuyokazi ended, leaving Tirelo as the only long-standing girlfriend—until Amahle came into the picture.
