Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu Reportedly Headed for Divorce After Years of Love and Struggles

It looks like the marriage between well-known South African actors Hungani and Stephanie Ndlovu may be coming to an end. According to rumours and reports from City Press, the couple has signed a settlement agreement and may be finalizing a divorce soon.

Hungani and Stephanie got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child in 2022. At the time, their fans were thrilled to see their growing family. But things have not been going well between the two. Since October 2024, reports say Hungani moved out of their shared home, and that may have been the start of their marital breakdown.

A source close to the couple revealed that they signed a divorce settlement on 9 June 2025. The agreement talks about how they will divide their estate, settle debts, and deal with inheritance issues. It also mentions that the couple no longer shares the same goals or interests.

“There is currently one asset owned by both parties in the form of immovable property. Hungani shall be liable for any amounts outstanding in respect of any movable property incurred during the marriage,” reads the settlement.

Stephanie has agreed to sign the necessary documents and hand over the property to Hungani.

Many fans know the Ndlovus from the popular soapie Scandal!, where Hungani played Romeo and Stephanie played Ingrid. Their love story began on the set, but it wasn’t love at first sight. On their YouTube channel, Stephanie once shared that she actually tried to set Hungani up with her cousin because she thought he was too young for her.

Despite that rough start, the couple fell in love and later tied the knot. One of the happiest moments in their marriage came in 2022 when they shared they were expecting their first child. They posted beautiful studio pictures, with Hungani kissing Stephanie’s baby bump.
