Tweeps Weigh In On Pearl Thusi Suggesting Sizwe Dhlomo And Vusi Box It Out. The actress and television personality is one of the few celebs to give her opinion on Sizwe Dhlomo and Vusi Thembekwayo’s latest beef. Thusi made a suggestion that they instead fight out all their differences in a boxing ring and that has made tweeps come up with mixed reactions.
Twitter was set ablaze on Monday, 13 March, when Sizwe Dhlomo reacted to entrepreneur and public speaker, Vusi Thembekwayo mentioning his name on YouTube’s ‘The Penuel Show’. The entrepreneur made some startling claims about Dhlomo, from him being inept, making objectionable comments about his kids and so on. Sizwe went on a rampage trying to absolve himself from many of Vusi’s claims and even suggesting they meet up as men to sort out their issues.
The incident had gained traction on Twitter, with many tweeps sharing their opinions about the matter. One famous name to have also shared her opinion was Pearl Thusi. In a video posted to Instagram, she shared it was best if rapper, Cassper Nyovest would at least capitalise off the beef. The media personality added that she is personally tired of always seeing them bickering on Twitter and as men it was only fitting that they knock out each other in the ring.
While the video might have been facetious or made to amuse social media users, The Black Pen, host of ‘The Penuel Show’ podcast and some tweeps have gone to express their extreme disappointment.
“I am disappointed but not suprised at Pearl Thusi making a video on social media saying that Casper Nyovest should organise a fight between Sizwe and Vusi. The calibre and thinking of some of our celebrities in South Africa is quite disappointing, and I think a lot of them have fallen into trap of what’s trending on social media,” Penuel said expressing disappointment.
“Chasing clout, wanting to be relevant, it would have been more dope if Vusi and Sizwe were to collab on a business, to make money. Collaborate on a seminar where they educate us to make money, how to move in business, travelling abroad and all those kind of things. Instead we want to see them beating each other up for entertainment and for laughs,” Penuel added.
“ Speaks volumes about the calibre of mindsets we have that influence South Africans. Something needs to change. I am disappointed, but not really suprised,” Penuel concluded.
Tweeps also shared their own opinions, with some saying while the whole Vusi and Sizwe drama might be annoying, South Africa doesn’t have well rounded celebrity mentors but only self-absorbed celebrities. Others added that there wasn’t anything wrong with what Pearl had said as they were also eagerly waiting for the boxing match.
