Tragedy Strikes Baby Cele’s Family! Baby Cele’s family is currently dealing with a situation that no family would ever want to find themselves in. The Uzalo actress’s cousin committed suicide after he took the life of his mother, leaving his estranged wife critically wounded.

The incident is said to have occurred at Mbuso’s mother’s home in Umlazi, K Section on Sunday afternoon at 13:00pm. Cele has since revealed that Mbuso (37) has been battling with depression for a long time.

According to Daily Sun, Mbuso’s sister Nombuso (47), says her brother arrived at their mother’s home on Sunday with his wife whom he has been separated from for two years, requesting to speak her. It has also been revealed that Mbuso had left his job as a car salesman due to depression and was infuriated by his wife’s relationship with his mother which according to him was better than his own relationship with his mother.

The neighbours detailed the incident happened in front of the community after his mother and wife refused to comply to his instruction.
KZN police spokeswoman Captain Nqobile Gwala says charges of murder and attempted murder are currently being investigated.

“It is alleged that on 12 April at 13:00pm at Umlazi K Section, a known suspect fatally shot his 72-year-old mother and wounded his wife after an argument, His mother was declared dead at the scene while the suspects wife was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition,” Captain Gwala said.

“The suspect was found dead on Monday in a locked vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head in the Bhekulwandle area and a fire arm was recovered next to the body,” Gwala added.

As a result of the situation the actress is bringing awareness to the many people who are silently battling with depression in the community and is urging them to seek help rather than being ashamed.

“They must seek help if they have depression. It’s a serious disease,” Cele said.
